Shooter came in for an oral health assessment and was diagnosed with stage 2 periodontal disease.  The owners then scheduled for Dr. Bill to perform oral surgery.  Shooter got a prophylactic polish as well as a surgical extraction of one of his teeth that was broken.  Shooter is now doing great and has great oral health thanks to the preventative care methods taken by his owners!
See the owner’s testimonial below!

“We recently had our Australian Sheppard, Shooter scheduled for a routine dental cleaning. During the initial exam, it was discovered that he had a broken tooth. For the benefit of his overall health, it was recommended that the broken tooth be extracted.

We checked Shooter in for overnight care prior to the dental procedure. He was well taken care of by the Greenhaven staff. He had his teeth cleaned and the damaged tooth extracted the next day. We received specific instructions for post care and the staff at Greenhaven followed up on his progress.

The extraction area healed as expected. In about one week, Shooter was back to eating normally and doing fine. The attention to detail by the staff finding his damaged tooth enhanced his overall health and well being. The dental cleaning is highly recommended for regular health maintenance.

Your provider can explain the health risks to your pet in regards to dental health. We were extremely satisfied with the level of care Shooter received at Greenhaven.

We have always had good results with the care of our animals and look forward to continued happy and healthy pets.”

Kind regards,

The H. Family
